At Home Away we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to experience safe and supportive spaces that respect and foster her or his strengths, creativity, and abilities. By joining with homeless and formerly homeless families we help build confidence by providing educational, social, and recreational opportunities.

The mentoring programs of Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) have a positive impact on the lives of children and families we serve by offering a professionally supported relationship between a caring adult and a child. Big Brothers/Sisters (Bigs) are friends, mentors, and positive role models to the children (Littles) with whom they are matched.

Through the generous support of donors, Marin Education Fund provides college access programs, scholarships, and support to students of all ages with demonstrated financial need. Students served by Marin Education Fund are frequently the first generation of their family to go to college.

Leaders in Future Environments (LIFE) Project is a mentoring program that aims to strengthen and promote leadership in youth affected by parental incarceration.
The LIFE Project accomplishes this by providing one-on-one mentoring, group activities every six weeks, and annual retreats that focus on the special needs and unique challenges that our mentees face. All activities are sponsored by the LIFE Project.
