For each program listed, you can view contact information, its mission, and the specific of mentoring it provides. Under type of program,

"community-based" means mentors and mentees meet on their own time out in the community

"school-based" and "site-based" indicates mentors and mentees meet primarily or exclusively at a particular site and at a particular time

most programs list "relationship" as its focus of mentoring; however, you will find others who also focus on other activities or goals like tutoring, careers, or sports
